Fund raising comes in many forms throughout the year. The principle ones are :

The Herne Bay Boot Fair – held every Sunday from 8.00 to 2.00 in Kings Road Car Park, Herne Bay. Stallholders arrive at around 6.30 am and selling starts at 8.30 am (a Council ruling does not allow us to start earlier than this).  Stalls cost £8.00.  For more information contact Terry Crick on 01843 825404. 

Supermarket collections at Morrison’s Herne Bay, Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Budgens in Whitstable, normally every Christmas. Introduced last year was a Easter Collection.

Charity Car Parking at Whitstable Junior School.

Various school fetes' including Joy Lane Infant & Junior School, St Alphege Junior School Whitstable, St Mary’s Infant and Junior school Tankerton.

The Whitstable Regatta. This year is the 219th Anniversary held on the 18th &19th August 2012, on Tankerton Slopes, Marine Parade Tankerton.

Saturday 23rd June – Classic Car Show – Tower Hill Tankerton, 11.00 to 3.00.

Classic Cars & Motor Bikes, Capital Gold Road Show, Bands and entertainment for the family – Coconut Shy, Candy Floss, Tea’s and Coffee, Face Painting. This a joint venture between The Town Manager Chris West, Whitstable Castle Trust and Whitstable & Herne Bay Lions Club  

The May Day Celebrations the 7th May 2012 – NOW BACK AT THE REFURBISHED CASTLE!!!. 

The selling of Lions Christmas Cakes in various locations.

Quiz Nights will be at the Whitstable Umbrella Centre Oxford Street Whitstable.

ALL MONIES RAISED ARE USED CHARITABLE PROJECTS NONE OF THE MONIES RAISED IS USED FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF THIS LIONS CLUB. THIS IS COVERED BY THE DUES PAID BY CLUB MEMBERS.
